Customer Reviews of the Grape Hoe
Very well made tools! Wish I had them when I was 9 years old and hoeing 5 acres of tobacco and tomatoes. Now 60 years later I can take care of 1 acre garden in less time and less back pain. Always knew to keep the hoe sharp the steel keeps sharp longer than what I am use too. The handle is superb an allows a very comfortable grip.
The Italian Grape Hoe works great for established weeds. We use it in between bed rows to clear weeds large and small. This tool makes hoeing much easier and effortless.
I needed to weed our grapes and fruit trees. Time got away from me and next thing I know, the weeds were tall and relatively thick. I started hand pulling them and quickly decided I needed tools. I had been considering a grape hoe for awhile and decided to spring and buy one. That was a good decision. Now I can casually weed with a fraction of the labor and at a fraction of the time. I'm now looking into more tools to make more tasks easier. Thank you for the quality tools!
Exceptional Craftsmanship! This grape hoe is well balanced. It has just enough weight to help me get through weeds and tough roots with little effort. I was KILLING myself in the past with cheap light weight hoes. I highly recommend this company for its service and amazing Quality.
This tool cut my extensive weeding time by at least 2/3rds! Its traditional and timeless design make weeding a relatively pleasant task. The design of the hoe optimizes slicing weed roots about a 1 to 2 inches below the surface. As always, maintaining a sharp cutting edge really makes mincemeat of those stubborn weeds even in compacted soil. Wish I had known of this particular hoe many years ago! Thoroughly recommend EasyDigging.com and their products!

Forging Process:
Forging is the process of forming and shaping metals through the use of hammering, pressing or rolling. The process begins with a bar or slab of steel which is heated to its plastic deformation temperature, then hammered or "kneaded" between dies to the desired shape and size. Forging is a ancient metalworking process that was done by a blacksmith pounding metal on an anvil with a hammer..
During the hot forging process, the steel's coarse grain structure is broken up and replaced by finer grains. Mechanical properties are improved by aligning the grain flow to obtain the desired directional strength. Forging can produce a piece that is stronger than an equivalent cast or machined part.
