The website is easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. Ordering and checkout was smooth. The service and delivery were excellent keeping you notified of when to expect the delivery and it arrived packaged well. The product itself is professional quality and will last a lifetime. It nearly impossible to find a long handle spade in the big box or hardware stores. The fiberglass handle is quite strong and reduces weight so you can work all day long. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought the tall garden fork for aerating and tilling. The tines were described as 10' in length- measured mine and found they were almost 11' long. After aerating I lightly worked the surface with the grub I bought a decade ago and then raked the surface to create a shallow seed bed with a minimally worked 10-12 inch, aerated root zone below. The the fork was so much fun that I probably over worked the soul a little too much. I bought a tall garden shovel which works really well spading and turning under manure. My garden isn't real big and these tools make short work of it. Our community garden has a rototiller, but it pulverizes 4' of soil and leaves a hard ban.

Before ordering my pitchfork and shovel from Easy Digging, I was managing my compost by hand. I know. It was a hard as it sounds. I read about Easy Digging from David the Good's books. He wrote that these tools were the best made products he's found. He was right! Turning my compost is a cinch now that I have sturdy tools. They are lightweight which is a huge benefit. Super strong, too. The customer service was excellent, too. They helped me purchase the best tools for my work.

I was so excited to use the grape hoe every time in garden. Very well built and sharp all the time even with heavy use. Easy for weeding and move the loam and garden materials around. Garden spade with fiberglass handle is very light weight. I was able to cut through the turf easily to create edges. Sharp shooter shovel is another good purchase I was able to dig out a very big hosta plant for relocation very easily without affecting roots. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the best garden tools I got from easy digging. Greg was very knowledgeable and easy to do business with if we need more information about the products they sell.

The tools can withstand a direct nuclear blast, They will outlive all of us. Easy to handle, tines on fork were pliant enough to wiggle around stones, blade on spade cut through dense clay. Price - fantastic. I have gardened for over 60 years and except for two tools that I bought from England in the early 70's I have never had better than these and ... the tools from England are no longer available - the man who made them died.

The quality of these products are great. I ordered a grub hoe and a spade. The hoe is my favorite, it replaced those old cruddy ones that were poorly maintained that I was using. It's a heavy head, but it makes short work of weeding and breaking up new beds. It doesn't take long to sharpen and it holds a nice edge. I was missing the aluminum wedge which secures the head, but customer service was good and quickly sent the piece I needed.

I already bought the 6" grub hoe and decided to go back for the 4 incher. To get free shipping I also bought a long handle spade. The spade is heavier duty than I think I really needed, but will probably last a lifetime. I was really excited about the 4" grub hoe, and it is a great tool. However I don't regret the 6" hoe at all, because when it comes to hacking through tough earth, roots, etc., the extra 50% weight of the big hoe makes a big difference. I also asked customer service about special ordering a post hole digger, but that kind of petered out.

My grub hoe and spade are fantastic. They are great quality and have helped me remove sod with ease. I am not an experienced gardener and removing sod always seemed to make my winter dreams of landscaping die down quickly in the spring and I never got as much done as I would have liked. With these two tools I have been able to get so much done with so much less effort. I had never realized how dull the blades of big box store tools and their inferior quality had been stunting my abilities. Now I happily turn on my music and chip away at the unnecessary sod to put in veg gardens and flowers for the wildlife.

This purchase was the second I've made from ED. I also purchased tools for volunteer use at a nearby state park's heritage garden late last year. ED specializes in good quality, sturdy merchandise, including the Hisco brand, which is what this short-handled spade is. Sometimes ED tools are a bit pricy, but in gardening you very often get what you pay for. In 40 years of home gardening, I've learned to buy tools that will stand up to hard use. Otherwise you end up having to buy tools more often to replace ones that aren't up to the challenge, and over time spend far more money.
