For years I used my Horse tiller to keep the aisles weeded in the garden , the drawback has always been the new weed seeds which emerge. With the Hoss wheel hoe I have used a 12" oscillating hoe to just keep the weeds cut off on the surface which is very quick and easy. I wish I had bought this tool years ago. Very pleased with my purchase. Easy Digging shipped my order quickly and it was packaged very well. Good experience all around.

Shipping and ordering was quick and easy. It all arrived in one piece and for that I'm grateful. The garden plow/ cultivator is what I expected. It's a great garden tool. Probably the best thing since light bread. It still involves a lot of manual work and time but a whole lot less than using a hoe. I cleaned the weeds out the day it arrived and once since. My garden is immaculate. It's sturdily designed and made. Nothing cheap about this tool. I highly recommend this garden plow and all of the attachments. Thank you, Greg and your team for manufacturing these great products. Yeah, they're made here, not China. Sincerely, Randall Brown

Straddle cultivating with the Hoss High Arch wheel hoe

I bought the Hoss High Arch Wheel Hoe.I have used all the attachments included with the hoe. The hiller attachment works pretty good on potatos before the plants are to tall to straddle, and when they grow taller you must change the hiller to throw the dirt sideways onto the plants which did a good job. When the potato plants spread out even more you must use the standard hoe to hill with as you can not get the wheel hoe in close enough to the center of the plant. A good potato plant can spread 1 1/2 feet or more on each side of the center of the row. After buying the wheel hoe my tiller broke down,so i switched to the duckfoot plows on the wheel hoe and after a rain the previously tilled soil got crusty and i tilled it up with the wheel hoe. The old planet Jr. ads promoted the wheel hoe being able to do so much work with a (strong) man pushing it all day. These rules still apply 100 years later,If your not a (strong) man your not going to walk and (push) the wheel hoe all day. Yet having said that, if you walk up behind it and shove it and walk up again and give it a shove you will be amazed how quick you can get through a row. The wheel hoe does as promoted,it saves a lot of back breaking work hoeing,no more bending over hoeing, you walk straight up and use your legs and arms instead of bending forward dragging the dirt with a standard hoe. Of course weeds never rest, your job is to remove them, the weeds job is to grow and take over the garden! Even with a wheel hoe you have to keep up with the battle.A wheel hoe is (NOT) a tiller. Weeds cannot be allowed to grow tall and expect the wheel hoe to do the job of a gasoline tiller. A farmer farms every day,and tends his crop every day. If you go through the rows with the duckfoot plow cultivator and use the oscillating hoes it will root out or clip off the weeds if you keep up with what is going on in your garden. A weed waits for no one, neither can you wait on the weed. So for the time being ,till the tiller is repaired the Hoss High Arch Wheel Hoe is the main line of defense in my garden against the weeds. The oscillating hoe must be sharpened with a file, once sharp and run with a push-pull action as you go through the rows, ive found the wheel hoe works great, slicing off the weeds as you go. This is my first wheel hoe, I have never used one till i bought this one, I wish i could have had one 40 years ago yet i assume they were out of production over the years till being manufactured again. Our nation is in the first part of a possible depression like we have never experienced before. The American Govt. has been cutting off production of fuel, fertilizer and even seed in Michigan during the covid lock downs. Instead of taking care of the American people and promoting gardening as was done in past depressions, wars ,we have been left to our own devices. During the last depression in which many suffered, the Old Planet Jr company increased production of wheel hoes for gardeners and decreased production of gasoline two wheeled tractors because people could not afford to buy the expensive gasoline equipment. The green deal people wish to put us into the dark ages and let everyone starve. We see food shortages in the stores and the news. The things in the store today are last years crop. Gardening without a tiller is not easy ,yet until the 1920s people used their hands or a horse or both. A small garden can be dug up by hand and tilled with a wheel hoe which uses no gasoline, works in the sunlight or moonlight. The wheel hoe is the perfect backup plan against starvation. The old planet Jr. Company promoted the wheel hoe as being able to take care of about 5 acres with a (Strong) man pushing it. People go out and buy exercise equipment every year and produce nothing. Buy a wheel hoe, while you can get one, exercise and grow a garden, you will not regret it.

Very happy with my purchase from start to finish, fast shipping, great price and the ability to buy the wheel hoe as a discounted package from Easy Digging. The wheel hoe comes packaged excellently with a great instruction booklet that explains assembly, different attachments and how to use them all and is quick and easy to assemble. The Hoss wheel hoe is built very solid from quality materials and should last a lifetime. Far superior quality tools to any of the junk you'll find in big box stores and the price reflects that. So far I've only use it from weeding and the blade attachment make quick and easy work of my nutsedge problem, what used to take hours can be accomplished in minutes without having to bend down.

Hoss wheel hoe with Oscillating Hoe attachment

Products are on the expensive side. If you can afford, do it. They are easy to assemble and easy to use. Built like tanks. I'm 75 and have no problems pushing them around or lifting. These are fine pieces of gardening equipment that should last forever. Or at least until I can't .

I absolutely love my EasyDigging wheel hoe! It makes weeding my garden so very easy! I also used it to remove some grass squares while putting in a new patio. I transplanted the squares to a new place to grow. The hoe made that job effortless! I was able to dig down below the roots to save the grass. I haven't used the plow attachments yet, but look forward to trying them out. Such a well- made tool!

Using a Furrowing Plow on the Euro wheel hoe

It was very easy to place my order, package arrived very fast and the manual plow is working fine at our rural property, which has very sandy soil. It's a very sturdy, well-built item of great materials and was easy to pout together. It pulls up garden weeds in that sandy soil with ease. To be very honest, I'm not sure it would do so as easily here at my city home where the soil is very dense, containing considerable roots and limestone bits dispersed throughout, where I would have to have a power tiller. I'm 73 and just don't have the strength I once did in my arms to push the manual plow through tougher soil. But at the location where I planned to use this tool, it is just perfect! Am very pleased to have this item in my garden shed.

Love, love, love the Hoss two wheel plow! My gas tiller is a relic, and unreliable, but this plow easily replaces it! I was so surprised at how well the oscillating hoe works at getting rid of weeds! My garden looks better than it ever has.

Hi guys, Thanks for this useful product. The plow works nicely, can't wait to try to the weeding tool. I recommend to people to get the linseed oil on fairly soon after purchase. I personally don't like the one product manual for multiple products. I'd rather have a product manual that is specific to exactly what I purchased. It gets confusing when the manual shows pictures of outdated parts or parts that aren't the same as what was purchased, 1 wheeled versus 2 wheeled assembly in the same picture etc...It's just a pdf presumably, so it shouldn't be too expensive to make more than 1 manual. One of the nuts didn't fit very well with the bolt. Why not include one or two extra in the packet? Anyway, good luck to you guys.

The Hoss Wheel Hoe works great. I planted 1/5 of an acre. We can zip through half the walking paths between the rows in 10 minutes and weeds are uprooted. Experimenting to see if we just leave the weeds to die or pick up. Each raised mound has two rows of vegetables and we left enough room between the rows to run the wheel hoe down the center of the raised garden rows. It makes weeding 10x easier. The cultivator worked great to work the soil before planting too.

I had heard good things about using a wheel hoe to keep weeds at bay. Weeds and creeping bermuda grass was my biggest headache for years. And my plot was small, 20ft x 30ft (and heavy clay). After I realized all the attachments and different chores you could use the hoe for I took the plunge. So far this year my weeds and grass are being kept back from just 2x weekly usage and no deep tilling. I realized I was doing a lot to myself to encourage weeds. I ordered the double wheel hoe with plow set, 8" oscillater, and later ordered a pair of 4" wing sweeps. These are all very well made and should last a lifetime. Thanks for keeping these proven tools alive and working. I think I can expand my working plot easily with these tools.

I purchased the wheel hoe because I heard so many great things about it and I liked other products I've bought before. It worked great and when I encountered a problem easydigging.com support identified the issue and helped me fix it quick and simple. One weak bolt was not enough to bring it down, and I could see the tool itself lasting me for many seasons.

Fast shipping and cheaper than ordering directly from the manufacturer. The HOSS double wheel hoe and accessories our high quality tools. The disc and cultivator teeth are great for secondary tillage after building raised bed with my BCS rotary plow. The sweeps and hoe are easier on my back then using a regular hoe for weeding. I used the plows to open a few furrows and plant bell beans on a bed. It worked great and I just used a rake to level the bed and cover the seeds. Bottom line quality tool at a good price and made in the USA. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought the wheel hoe for my Grandson's birthday and he is very happy with it. We live in high desert in AZ, soil is clay and rock very compacted. He researched your products thoroughly and although he hasn't had the opportunity to assemble and use the Wheel Hoe, we are confident it will live up to the tasks ahead.

I had a small inline 2 wheel cultivator with an eight inch stirrup hoe (hoe between wheels) that worked well but broke. No replacement parts were available. Weeding now was either pulling by hand or using the cultivator attachment on the in-line hoe. The weeds often went between the spades, so multiple runs were needed. I got the two wheel Hoss cultivator with the 12 inch oscillating hoe for our sandy soil. I hadn't been able to weed the garden for a couple weeks, so it was getting out of hand. The hoe worked well and was fairly easy to push even with the 12 inch hoe and larger weeds. It uprooted the weeds which could either be removed by hand or raked out, though some smaller ones were buried by the hoe. The cleared areas were then mulched with grass clippings so there will be fewer weeds. Though it may only be used a couple times a year it is still worth it. The cost was more reasonable than the alternatives and the cultivator has a much larger array of attachments than the competition. It was easy to assemble, though having to treat the wood with linseed oil before assembly was a pain and delayed assembly. One of the pilot holes for the screws for the crossbar was missing, but wasn't a big problem. Overall, I am happy with this new tool for my garden.

I just purchased the 4 inch and 6 inch goose foot sweeps. I have yet to use them but I will. These sweeps are made here, not you know where. Heavy gauge welded steel. Probably will out last the life if any purchaser. Good old fashioned quality tool. When I go to work on the weeds in my garden with these sweeps it's going to look like the D-day invasion June 6, 1944. Those weeds won't know what hit them I'll have them on the run right under the fence to my neighbors where they came from. Get yourself a set of these and have your own invasion and chase your weeds out of the garden.

Great customer service. I got the single wheel Hoe with the Loaded package. They were out of stock on several items, they tell you this, you sign up to be alerted when in stock, and I got an email notifying me when in stock, plus when I got a phone call when I had changed my order from what I had signed up to be notified of, to make sure it wasn't a mistake on my part. I like that. Everything arrived in quick time, and all the parts were there, with a nice color picture booklet to show how to put it together, though it wasn't hard or anything. It works great, and I like mine very much. If you decide to use Linseed oil to preserve the handles, keep in mind, it is safe to use, as long as you are careful and obey the rules of its use, when discarding the rags or whatever you use to apply the oil to the handles. . Leaving the rags or applicator with rags in a garbage can bundled together is dangerous! Doing that can, and most likely will start a fire, through spontaneous combustion, by a thermochemical reaction. This is fact, not fiction, and has been tested, and documented, ( Watch Youtube videos) so don't blow this off. Peoples homes have burned down. So, put them in a pail of water, or in the open air where they cannot be scrunched up together (less recommended way), or in an old paint can filled with water once you are done with the application. I used it, and had no problems, and once it dries, you are safe. No, the handle won't do that, just old rags bunched together in a confined place will begin to heat up, then combust. otherwise, it is perfectly safe. I applied it to my handle outside on the tailgate & bed of my pickup truck, on a piece of old cardboard box spread out. And left that in the open air, with the handles until dry, overnight. Same with the sponge applicator I used. Also, work in a well ventilated place, like outdoors, or shop with big door open. Do not fear using it, just follow the recommended steps of the experts. Anyway, This is a great tool to save you from hand hoeing so much, and many other tasks. Happy Gardening.

I bought the wheel plow to make rows in my garden. I thought the plow would make row easier than using a shovel and a hoe. The plow does an ok job. It doesn't move the dirt like I expected or like was depicted in the video. It's difficult to push even after I tilled my soil and made it real loose. It's a good concept, but I think if you adjusted the angle on the handles to make them lower, it would be easier to push. Your assembly instructions needs some improvements.

When I ordered the Hoss double wheel hoe delivery time was 7 to 8 days which was fine with me. It actually showed up in three days. Only disappointment was that I had to wait about a week and a half to use it in the garden because of the rain that we had. I have used it twice and not only is it easy to use, but enjoyable as well. I am looking forward to really putting it to the test next spring. The quality of the tool is fantastic. Tom R

I am retiring Grandmother's Planet Jr. Two years ago I purchased the dual wheel hoe. I'm highly satisfied with it and its' versatility. I just purchased the single wheel hoe to replace the "antique". I am waiting to be able to order the seeder. I was somewhat disappointed when the single wheel hoe arrived. It did not have "HOSS" stamped on the handles. The pistol grip handles are stamped, maybe the plow handles don't come that way. That don't make the unit work any differently. Just looks better for advertisement in the neighborhood. Great tools, keep up the good work, looking for new improvements. Thank you.
