Hoss Wheel Hoes -
You can do so much in your garden with one of these - but it all depends on which attachment you are using. The Hoss wheel hoe itself is like a tractor in that its usefulness depends on what implement you hook up to it. And the Hoss models have more options than any other brand. Such as cultivator teeth, weeding hoes, plows, a disc harrow, and even a seeder attachment.
How to Choose:
There are 2 different types of wheel hoes to choose from: the original Hoss model, and the High-Arch version.
The original Hoss model is the most popular. All that attachments fit it.
Since it is lighter, it is easier to push and steer. Both single and double wheel versions are offered.
● Both are available in Single and Double Wheel versions.
● Double wheels increase your weeding options and add stability while pushing.
The High Arch model excels at weeding, cultivating, or plowing BOTH sides of a row of crops at the same time. This is called straddling, as in straddle weeding. Straddle cultivating with the teeth loosens the soil on both sides at once. Straddle weeding slices the weeds. Straddle plowing is called "hilling" and it moves soil up and over the base of plants like corn and potatoes.
See the list and pictures below for details on the items included in each package. If you want info on even more attachments, or want to see what each one is for, visit the Attachments page.

What is special about the Loaded packages?
Years ago, we noticed lots of people buying plows and oscillating hoes with their basic wheel cultivators. So we made packages out of them to make your decision easier, and save you some money. Both of the Loaded packages do save some money over buying the same components separately. If you want to add even more wheel hoe attachments, you can find them all listed on the Attachments page.
