So far so good. Everything seems well made and sturdy, and I appreciate that there are so many instructional resources on this website as well.

To be honest, it's hard to evaluate a planter in January. But, I did purchase the single planter last year, and was extremely happy with it. This planter looks very much the same, except it has the additional side for fertilizer.
At age 60 something, it is getting difficult to kneel, squat, or sit on the ground while planting seeds. The planter takes all the pain out of planting, allowing me to stand upright, moving along the row just as quickly as I can lift and stab the planter into the ground again. My rows are straighter, more uniform, and done in less than 1/4 the time. A guy can't ask for more - unless the kids are going to do the planting!!

tip or beak of jab planter that pierces the soil

The jab seeder has worked well for planting corn. Before, I had to dig a furrow, then put in seed, then cover. With the jab seeder I able to save time and some strain on my back, by simply walking the row and pushing down on the seeder. Shipping of the seeder was fast and my overall experience was great!

Just used 2 days ago. Faster than the jab planters that you have to drop seed in every time you plant a hill of seed. Used it to plant ornamental corn though 1.5mil plastic mulch with no problem. Even though it says it want work on films.

I'm slowly buying every tool on the site as I need them and as my lower quality tools break. Every item I've bought from easydigging is top notch.

This is a great tool for planting sweet corn. It plants seed and fertilizer in one motion. This cut my seed planting time in half! I highly recommend.

Worked great, planted a variety of garden seed by simply changing rollers and it saved my back. Would recommend to a friend and buy again.

The basic design of this planter is excellent. The material used to make individual parts is really light weight. (will not last long.) Quality control in putting the planter together is poor, I poured fertilizer in the fertilizer hopper and it all ran out the bottom because a part was missing. I decided to fabricate the part myself instead of trying to get the part from the mfg., I had the planter in operation much quicker by doing that.

The tools are great. Well made and they will last, unlike tools from local big box store that break with real use. I am a repeat customer and have been thrilled with the quality of everything I have purchased.

The question that ought to have been but was not in the series of automatically generated questions about Easy Digging is, "How dumb were our questions overall?". What, for example, is an "Overall shopping experience"? That one I'd have given four question marks, and six "Huh's?". I bought the stab planter. I haven't used it yet, but the first thing I did was look at it very carefully. The different seed cylinders, (there are six of them), should be terrific for corn, and, as it says on the tin, larger seeds. That they are rotating cylinders and not rotating wheels seems a plus in the direction of simplicity. The instructions are relatively clear and easy to follow, though I think the instructions to use the tab which delivers either one, two or three seeds might be mixed about. But as the instructions recommend, try the planter out on a brick and seed how many seeds come out. The body of the planter has, as they say, a side for seeds and a side to deliver fertilizer. The latter in I believe, IIRC, 1/2 tsp., and then greater amounts. The plastic plate at the bottom of the 'plunger', and the plunger itself could be weak. (I don't think it would resist angled stresses.) I haven't yet used it, correct. Though I've made some trial plunges, and the soil into which I tried was quite firm. I'd loosen the soil somewhat first Delivery time really was five star, as is the tool, and the web site/sites. (Clothe's pins. Wow!)
