I'm so glad I purchased the indestructible broad fork! The soil in my raised beds had frozen (I think the plastic liner in the beds contributed to that) and I couldn't even get a regular spading fork to penetrate the soil. It wasn't easy with the broad fork but I can stand on it and work the tines into the soil to break it up. It made an impossible job possible. I look forward to working the soil with it when it thaws - it should be a lot easier, especially with the broad fork. It's well constructed; I think it will live up to its indestructible name.

It is made as I expected. It's a bit pricey, but I wanted one and now I have it. I'll use it later this winter into the spring. I had tillers before and they are okay, but I'm attempting to build compost beds on top of a fairly good garden soil. We'll see if this stuff works, as to what I can produce. I give the veggies I raise to my church members and it brings great joy. I'm hoping for an abundant crop. Thank you for a great product and good timely service.

Very awesome products. I bought a broad fork, a grape hoe and a grub hoe. They are already being used and I couldn't be happier with the products and service. Thank you!

I bought the meadow creature. It is by far the best gardening tool I've invested in. Absolutely worth the money. Despite all that's going on, it shipped quickly, and arrived sooner than expected. Easy-digging is the only place I will buy gardening tools from.

I didn't know such a tool existed and was glad to find it. It's great. As advertised, a person with a small frame, like me, can handle it easily--and I got the job done!

The owner contacted me and let me know that shipping would be slow due to the Covid thing. Without prompting. Appreciated. Have used it much, and am very satisfied. Virtually indestructible.

We ordered a broadfork never having used one before. Once I got it, I immediately went out to start aerating some extremely grass-laden clay soil. It was easy (and FUN!) to use. I got about 50' done before I had to take a break. Love the broadfork and was very impressed with the packaging and the fork itself.

This spring I was struggling converting my front lawn from turf to a vegetable garden. After spending two days battling with a rear tine tiller, I broke down and bought the standard model broadfork with 12" tines and couldn't believe how easy it was to use. I was digging into soil from the front lawn of a house that was built in 1961! After 60 years of compaction, I honestly couldn't believe how effortlessly it penetrated the soil. I used it for a week turning over huge rocks and heavy soil. This tool is the real deal. Thank you!

This is a sturdy tool and awesome for breaking up our heavy clay soil here in the California Central Coast. It is also a good exercise for balancing--reminds me of stilts. Thanks for building a sturdy tool.

We love the broadfork and spading forks. They are extremely durable and high quality tools that make digging in the soil so much easier. I highly recommend their tools!

Easy to order. Timely delivery. Half my garden is already dug and planted (still April). Easily tears up lawn to remove sod, then breaks up topsoil, just rake and plant seeds. High value product that will not break. This broadfork is the one to get.

My soil is very rocky. Thing tool has yet to show wear yet minus wear we put our feet. Nothing you can do about that. This thing is tough and I see I will get many years of service out of it.

Absolutely delighted with my new broadfork! It is just what I wanted, beautifully made and sturdy; the angle and curve of the tines gives me great leverage (I have already tried using it in dead of winter in my wood chip pile.) I am confident it will last me for the rest of my life!

I bought the broad fork to dig up my garden and aerate parts of my lawn. I'm 62 and live on my own. It was so easy and it made me feel empowered that I could do it on my own and not have to hire someone to help me.

The Broadfork tool was really heavy. Too heavy. When I went back to the site to get my order details there is no "Order History" spot or "My Account" location that I could find which is really frustrating. In addition, I checked my emails and nowhere did I get a confirmation email detailing what I had ordered. So that made it difficult to rate as we purchase a number of tools from different places each spring.

Very good experience! Greg was very helpful when I had trouble with ordering due to some computer issues. The tools I received were first quality - very nice. I only dinged a star on price because, well, you have to pay extra for good tools - they ARE good tools but I still like bigbox bargain prices! :) I have used both my tools and although one is not quite the right fit for the job it is about the best I could come up with and the tool itself is excellent, it WILL be useful for other tasks in the future. It is welcome member of my tool kit. The other shovel has proven to be GREAT! It has helped me in my trenching drudgery immensely and I hope it holds up to years of use and abuse! :)

Shipping was very fast, despite a weather related delay. I love the meadow broadfork. It is easy to use and very heavy duty. I am a 59 year old woman and can easily manage it. I haven't had as much time to use the wheel hoe. I do find the handles to be a bit high even when set at the lowest level. I am only 5'4', so it may be easier to use for a slightly taller person. I am hoping to make some adjustments to the handle length.

Thought I would have to wait until spring to break up some clay that was from a pond I dug 20 years ago to make a pasture for my pony. It was hard clay. Well it was in the 40's in Ohio and I was curious so I gave it a try and I was very pleased with it. I thought it was pricey but after using it, it is well built and will last. It did wear me out so if you are afraid of hard work this might not be for you, but I really enjoy the workout. Very nice tool.

Received the Meadow Creature 7 days after placing the order (2 days were weekend). Immediately took the broadfork
out for a test drive. It's unusually dry here and the ground has never been broken so it took a bit of work to
get the forks into the ground. I found that if I drive the forks as deep as I could then rocked it back and forth
I could then get the forks full depth.
I wasn't gentle or kind to it and never once was I concerned that I might damage or break it. I'm a big guy (260#)
so I know I put some serious torque on it breaking through the sod.
All in all I'm very happy with it and I'm confident if I use the broadfork in the proper season it will be a
joy to use, no worries if it will start, no noise or fumes and no worries about breakage.
Thank you easydigging.com for a good tool!

I saw an ad in a national homesteading magazine for broadforks, did some research and although taken aback by prices, decided to give one a try for several reasons. I chose the EasyDigging fork because of it's versatility. After installing 5 tines, took it to the 40 yr old garden. No effort here, even some tough grass roots yielded. We had a wet spring and couldn't get the tractor into the run-ins, ended up with almost a year's worth of packed manure/wasted hay that the manure fork just couldn't loosen. Rocking the tines in and levering as directed, it was like magic!!! Now I'm looking forward to harvesting our root crops with it this fall. I do have one big regret: not finding this awesome A merican made tool sooner! Thanks Greg for making life easier at AspenEdge Farm!

Exactly what I needed to break up the sub soil below what my tiller depth was. Very easy to use, worked well in my clay sub soil. Makes incorporating added organic mulch to soil relatively easy once sub soil broke up.

We have clay soil that we have amended with sand, compost, garden soil and different things as kelp, blood and bone meal... this broadfork cut thru this with minimal effort ... the soil was slightly damp from previous rains

I bought a grape hoe, a grub hoe & an indestructible broadfork. All 3 work as expected, but ESPECIALLY the broadfork!
That thing is fabulous! Slow & steady and before you know it you've turned a lot of earth. I'd buy another in a
heartbeat, but I won't need to - it probably IS indestructible!
I fully expect my great grandkids will still be using all 3. Built to last! I love it!

I was hesitant to spend so much money on a garden tool but am very pleased with the purchase. This broadfork is sturdy, well made, and easy to use. I'm in my 70's and am not particularly strong, but even I can do this! It does loosen the soil - even our hard clay - and will make weeding before planting much easier. Hopefully with aerated soil vegetables will thrive this year - if it ever stops snowing! (April 16, 2018)

I can see the broad fork from I got from you is the best. I do not think that a fork with a wood handle would stand up very good with the way my ground is.

Bought the "People's" Broadfork. I'm busting sod and making good dirt. No gas needed, boom. Oh, and you should see my lats and core...this thing gets you ripped.

I mostly use mine to dig up ENTIRE root balls for transplanting blackberry plants and other things that have nice root systems so I can share plants with neighbors. Because it gently raises the ground, and I move to all sides of the plant, I can salvage really long roots and the plants don't even realize they've been moved. If I have a particularly irritating plant, I can dispose of it quickly and easily no matter what kind of root it has. It's a tad heavy but that's a good thing because that's part of what makes it work so well, and let's face it, my upper arms can use the extra workout without straining my back. Excellent tool, I wish I had it 50 years ago. Good work, Guys! Can't wait to see what you roll out next.
